I am an experienced counsellor with a background in the Humanistic Therapies which includes Person Centered, Emotion Focused, Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioural therapies. Above all, the counselling process for me is highly individual and we will focus on an approach and pace that will suit you. I would suggest that clients start this journey with a brief introductory discussion (at no charge) that can happen over the phone, internet or in person to explore their goals, plan an approach or simply get to know a little more about each other.
I have worked in a variety of support settings helping people with depression, anxiety, stress, addiction and relational issues in both affluent and deprived communities. Having spent a significant portion of my career in the High Technology industries I have a particular interest in situational and work related depression which was the focus of my Master’s thesis. I also have first-hand experience with the management of chronic ill health and find this helpful when working with clients with health concerns.
